What keeps the cell running after commissioning.

Frequent SKU changes made a fixed case packer uneconomic, but manual packing could not hold the required rate. A vision-guided SCARA over a modular belt, with a zoned vacuum tool and recipe-driven patterns so a changeover is a screen selection rather than a tooling change.

Three machines each needed an operator standing by to load and unload short-cycle turned parts. A 6-axis robot on a pedestal between the machines, servo gripper with dual jaws for load-and-unload in one entry, plus a part-presence check before each cycle start.
Our finished drums were stacked by hand, so output was capped by how fast the team could stack them. AIA sized the cell against our own drum range rather than a catalogue, and the palletiser now handles every diameter we run without a tooling change.
